Review: Coffee & Vanilla

Coffee & Vanilla Coffee & Vanilla by Akegami Takara
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Okay. I think I've given my heart a bit of rest, I can now write about this steamy series.
I'm impressed by this manga because it made me squeal! Like *shoujo girl* typical squeal, flailing arms and everything, it was ALL there.
Coffee & Vanilla has beautifully drawn characters with a plot that punches you in the face. It's a nice punch though, it's like,BAM, a flowery explosion with waves of desire mixed in. Lets just say that it's potent.

*sigh* The plot is lacking though. If you were on the search for something with depth and breath look somewhere else.
(what I mean is, we don't really get to know her backstory or his. But HEY, if that doesn't really bother you then it's fabulous!)

I would say it's a perfect read for something naughty, quick, and overly gushy with smoldering eyes.

(There was one scene that was off putting, but stick in there he's a decent guy, even if he does have a bit of a sadistic streak.)
