Review: Gome ne Idol-kun

Image
ごめんね♥アイドルくん by 小嶋ララ子 My rating: 3 of 5 stars Gomen ne Idol-kun is a cute manga about the pain of first loves and sparkly stardom. It's lighthearted with adorable characters how they overcoming obstacles. If you are looking for something without committing, cute and sparkly then this it is. It has the pacing of a one-shot(a short story, story board form, and usually concluded in a single chapter). Its BB if the cover isn't obvious and it really left me with a smile. What can I say, I think this one is adorable! Go read it! View all my reviews

Review: Coffee & Vanilla

Coffee & Vanilla by Akegami Takara My rating: 3 of 5 stars Okay. I think I've given my heart a bit of rest, I can now write about this steamy series. I'm impressed by this manga because it made me squeal! Like *shoujo girl* typical squeal, flailing arms and everything, it was ALL there. Coffee & Vanilla has beautifully drawn characters with a plot that punches you in the face. It's a nice punch though, it's like,BAM, a flowery explosion with waves of desire mixed in. Lets just say that it's potent. *sigh* The plot is lacking though. If you were on the search for something with depth and breath look somewhere else. (what I mean is, we don't really get to know her backstory or his. But HEY, if that doesn't really bother you then it's fabulous!) Review: Aruito: Moving forward, Vol. 01

Aruito: Moving forward, Vol. 01 by Nagamu Nanaji My rating: 3 of 5 stars GIVE IT A GO AND CHECK IT OUT!! Nagamu Nanaji's attention to detail in this manga is one of the things I liked the most about this manga. The scenes and character artwork is very real, down-to earth and fleshed out. It's like there is a vibrancy to the town and I can even hear the trees rustle their leaves. It just sucks me right in! ANYWAYS the characters are likeable and everyone is not just bland by being black and white, everyone is a certain shade of grey & you get pulled in trying to figure out who is what. I look forward to the following volumes. The reason I give this three stars instead of four is because I'm starting to really dislike the interactions between the lead and one of her suitors.
